Will I have fun? If you like having fun and you like country music, then you’ll have fun.
How should I act? I think you should act like it’s a big damn kickoff to Summer with a concert under a big damn sky on a big damn beautiful cattle ranch. I think you should also remember you’re on a working cattle ranch with 1000 heartbeats relying on the sustenance of mother nature. So, don’t be a pig.
What should I wear? Personally, I think everyone should dress for the “Ranch Night” theme. To you, this might mean round toe or square toe, pearl snaps, bolos, Wranglers, Lees, Luccese’s, Larry’s, cut-off sleeves, Beth Dutton, Rip Wheeler, Teeter, straw hat, black hat, snap-backs, or other such ranch wear. You could also just come as you are. 😉
Will I see a cow? The concert venue is in the middle of the farm. It will be nearly impossible for you to not see a cow as you’ll be driving through the cow pastures to access the venue and parking area.
Will I see a Bull? Our Akaushi Wagyu bulls will be “at work” during this period, meaning they will be in the same pasture as the momma cows. They are red, and most of our momma cows are black. There are also anatomical differences between a bull and a momma cow that can be easily observed by the naked eye by fixing your eyes towards the rear legs of the animal.
Can I Bull Fight? It is not recommended. Interestingly though, most of our momma cows, when with their calf, are more aggressive than our bulls. So, don’t mess with Momma either.
Will there be camping? Unfortunately, there won’t be camping available for the public. The closest campground is Zion Retreat about 10 mins away, and it is beautiful there.
What does “Free Overnight Parking” mean? It means, 1) parking is free, 2) we are not towing that night if you should need to ride-share and leave your vehicle.
Can I show up early and tailgate? Yes, please be respectful of other folks, our cows and mother nature. Bring trash bags.
Can I give a donation for Parking? Yes! In fact, we hope you give a donation of any amount, to park.
Will there be restrooms available? Yes, but not the flushable kind.
Can I bring food into the concert? No. We are featuring a BBQ with this concert. We’ll have plenty of food options for you inside.
What if I have a baby’s or toddlers? We will absolutely allow snacks and kids beverages. If it’s suspect, we have the right to refuse it. i.e. Four grown men shouldn’t be traveling with ziplock bags full of soaked fruit passing it off as baby food. 🙂
What beverages can I bring in? Factory sealed water is encouraged.
What beverages will be inside? There will be a limited offering of NA beverages. For Alcohol, we will have a variety of beer, a “banquet bar” type setup with liquor and wine, as well as a Whiskey Tent.
What is a Whiskey Tent? A “Whiskey Tent” is a tent with a selection of whiskey (only) inside on a bar. Any ticket holder will have access to this “Whiskey Tent”. It will be intentionally and unapologetically, bare bones. So don’t expect a lot of mixers. Off to the side of the “Whiskey Tent” will be a “Whiskey Tent Lounge”, for whiskey lovers to sit around and talk about how much they love whiskey.
Can I bring in tarps and chairs? Tarps, no. Chairs, yes. There will be a designated chair and blanket area. Please note, the chair area will not be up front.
Can I bring in blankets? Yes, no bigger than 5’ x 5’ and they’ll be in the same “chair and blanket” areas.
What is the age limit for the festival? All ages for the concert. Fans 12 and under are free.
Will the festival be ADA accessible? Yes. There are no steps needed to view the stage and we’ll have ADA compliant facilities.
